چکیده
Background: The severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic has complicated the management of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). Objectives: This study aimed to assess efficacy different anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccines under treatments in IBD patients and identify predictive factors associated with lower serological response, including anti-tumor necrosis factor (anti-TNF) drug levels. Design: A prospective, double-center was conducted following messenger ribonucleotide acid (mRNA) non-mRNA vaccination. Methods: Healthy control (HC) were enrolled reduce bias. Baseline samples obtained 14 days after second dose impact conventional biological treatments. Clinical biochemical activity, response level, anti-TNF levels measured. Results: included 199 (mean age, 40.9 ± 12.72 years) 77 HC participants 50.3 12.36 years). Most (76.9%) all HCs received mRNA vaccines. Half on treatment (anti-TNF 68.7%). Biological thiopurine combined immunomodulation ( p < 0.001), vaccination promoted better antibody 0.001). Higher adalimumab caused = 0.006). W8 persistence level equal groups. Vaccination did not aggravate clinical disease activity 0.65). Conclusion: Anti-SARS-CoV-2 is considerably efficacious patients, promoting negative treatment, especially high levels, should be considered. Although midterm durability encouraging, more data are needed expand existing understanding this issue.

Auto-antibodies in Patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease Unclassified
Background: Inflammatory bowel disease unclassified (IBDU) is considered to be an aberrant immune response with loss of tolerance to many antigens. Objective: This paper tries to address whether there is any value to test for auto-antibodies in such patients. Methods: 60 patients with inflammatory bowel disease unclassified participated in the study. Auto-antibodies to nuclear antigen, intestin...

متن کاملInterpretation of Serologic Test Results and Evaluation of Humoral Immune Response After Vaccination Following Infection with COVID-19 Disease
SARS-CoV-2 virus infection induces a cellular and humoral mediated immune response and produces antibodies against viral antigens such as nucleocapsid (N) protein and spike (S) protein. Anti-protein S antibodies also target the spike protein subunit S1 and the receptor binding domain (RBD). Serologic tests can detect the presence of these antibodies in blood serum within a few days to a few wee...
متن کاملPneumococcal Vaccination Rates in VHA Patients With Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is an inflammatory condition of the digestive tract not caused by infectious agents. Symptoms of IBD, such as diarrhea and pain, diminish one's quality of life. Underlying immune dysregulation may put IBD patients at risk for severe infectious disease making preventative vaccination highly recommended. Therefore, this study sought to assess rates of pneumococcal...
